From teaching to leading

You’ve built your career around students, learning, and community. You understand what makes a school work and where it can be stronger.

Leadership is the next step.

Jewish Day Schools need leaders who can support educators, guide strategy, and build environments where both students and teachers thrive. At JSLE, we help experienced educators take that step with clarity, confidence, and support.

What leadership allows you to do

  • Shape the direction and vision of a school

  • Support and develop other educators

  • Influence culture, curriculum, and community

  • Expand your impact beyond a single classroom

From classroom to Head of School

Dr. Kimberly Schwartz is the Head of School at Valley Beth Shalom in Los Angeles. But she started her career as a religious school teacher before becoming principal at Temple Judea.

She has decades worth of experience in both Jewish and secular education. But she wanted to take on more and that’s exactly what she’s found as a head of school.

If you’re ready to step up from your current role, Jewish school leadership could be in your future.
