From corporate career to Head of School

Rebecca Lurie is Head of School at Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston. But prior to this, she led the Talent Management department at Staples, Inc, where she worked for ten years.

She was also at Prudential Financial for five years after receiving her MBA from NYU School of Business and graduating with a double degree in political science and Talmud, from Barnard College.

Rebecca is proof that Jewish school leaders don’t necessarily need backgrounds in education, just passion for it.
