Building the Next Generation of Jewish School Leadership

A new approach to leadership

JSLE exists to identify, develop, and support the next generation of Jewish Day School leaders.

We connect mission-driven individuals with real pathways into leadership, offering guidance, training, and access to opportunities across Jewish education.

This isn’t just about filling roles. It’s about building a stronger, more sustainable future for Jewish schools.

Why This Matters

Leadership in Jewish day schools shapes everything — from the student experience to the strength of entire communities.

Great leaders:

  • Set a clear vision for excellence

  • Strengthen Jewish identity and connection

  • Build communities that last

Investing in leadership is investing in the future of Jewish life.

Expanding the path to leadership

JSLE was created to rethink how leaders are identified and developed.

Through programs like the Career Advisor Program, we connect talented individuals with meaningful opportunities in Jewish education, whether they’re already in the field or exploring a new path.

By expanding who sees themselves as a future leader, we’re helping close a critical leadership gap across Jewish day schools.

Guided by experienced school leaders

JSLE is guided by Heads of School and educational leaders from across North America.
